One method of supporting our work is to donate your car.

When you donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Habitat for Humanity’s Cars for Homes™ program, you are helping us build homes in partnership with families within our community!

Donating a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle is quick and easy, and your car donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details).

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sandtown Habitat for Humanity. We have a variety of opportunities for volunteer involvement. You do not need to be skilled in construction to have an impact – only a willingness to learn!

How do I volunteer?

Follow these 3 simple steps:

1. Complete the appropriate volunteer scheduling form and return it to the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@sandtownhabitat.org. You must list the date you would like to come out along with contact information to be considered.
    
   • You will then be contacted within 5 business days by the volunteer coordinator to confirm a scheduled timeslot.
   • Please note, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive we may not be able to accommodate the date requested or group size for every request. We will make a reasonable effort to place each request we receive.
   • Saturday groups are limited to 10 people per group.
      
2. Read the Volunteer Orientation Manual. If you have any further questions, please contact the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@sandtownhabitat.org or 410-669-3309.
    
3. Fill out the Waiver of Liability form. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign too or they will not be allowed to work! You may either mail the form to the SHFH office at 1300 N. Fulton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21217 or bring it with you when you come out.
